Ky standard evropian përshkruan një metodë standarde konvencionale për vlerësimin e emetimeve të mundshëm nga ngjitësit pas aplikimit të tyre. Standardi zbatohet vetëm te ngjitësat pa ose me pak tretës (solvent) si përcaktohen në standardi EN 923. Ngjitësit duhet të përdoren në temperaturën e dhomës.
