This European Standard applies to top devices of tank wagons used for substances of classes 3, 4.1, 4.2, 4.3, 5.1, 5.2, 6.1, 8 and 9 of RID carried in the liquid state and able to be top filled and emptied. This European Standard defines the type of equipment to be fitted on the top of such tank wagons and the important dimensions for their connections.
