In order to fulfill their interests in standardization and in support of national standardization activities, interested parties may become members of the National Standardization Forum (NSF) established at the DPS. NSF members may be full members or observers.
Types of membership
Government bodies (ministries, agencies and administrative structures defined by law or a decision of the Council of Ministers) are considered full members of the NSF.
Application and acceptance of membership
The written application for membership is sent to the Chairman of the NSF in the form determined by the DPS. The application form contains a declaration of acceptance in accordance with the provisions of the Law on Standardization, the internal regulations of the DPS.
The DPS will decide on the acceptance of applications for membership in the KSF as members based on written applications and the membership regulation. Applicants must be notified in writing of the decision on membership within 10 days. 10.3 Membership in the KSF begins on the date when the DPS has officially made the decision and after payment of the membership fee for the relevant period of the calendar year.
The type of membership may be changed based on a written request by the KSF member.
For new memberships and procedures (application, acceptance, reinstatement, termination), the DPS notifies the Board of Directors at its nearest meeting.
