Notification to CEN

DPS notifies the European Committee for Standardization (CEN) of the entire list of EN standards adopted as Albanian standards, for the areas covered by CEN.

Notification to CENELEC

DPS notifies the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardization (CENELEC) every 6 months of the work carried out in relation to the adoption of European EN standards adopted as Albanian standards (SS), for the areas covered by CENELEC.

Notification to ISO/IEC

DPS notifies the ISO/IEC Secretariat, twice a year, of its work programme, thus implementing the principle of transparency under the WTO/TBT Agreement – Annex 3 thereof “Code of Good Practice for the Preparation, Adoption, Approval and Application of Standards”. The work programme contains all the standards to be adopted within a 6-month period of the year.

Notification of Technical Regulations

The DPS notifies WTO members, through the WTO Secretariat, draft technical regulations and conformity assessment procedures affecting trade, and exchanges information requested by members in relation to the above.

Notification within the framework of CEFTA

Within the framework of the obligations arising from the CEFTA Agreement, the Serbian Institute for Standardization, the General Directorate of Standardization (DGS) notifies purely Serbian national standards.

This notification is carried out within the framework of the notification of economic operators who may have trade interests with the Serbian state regarding this category of products, who may submit their comments. Potential comments are addressed to the General Directorate of Standardization, which by law is the point of contact for the exchange of information on standards and technical regulations.
