DPS has published the standard SSH EN 12767:2019+A1:2024 "Passive safety of supporting structures for road equipment - Requirements and test methods"

This standard specifies performance test procedures to determine the passive safety characteristics of supporting structures, such as lighting columns, sign posts, signal supports, structural members, foundations, detachable products and any other components used to support a particular roadside device. It provides a common basis for testing the impact of a vehicle on the supporting structures of roadside devices. The standard does not apply to road restraint systems.
