Fusha e këtij KT është adoptimi i standardeve evropiane dhe ndërkombëtare CEN/ISO si dhe hartimi i standardeve shqiptare kryesisht për pajisjet mbrojtëse personale në vendin e punës, pajijset e shpëtimit, pajisjet mbrojtëse të fytyrës, veshjet mbrojtëse ndaj rreziqeve kimike, veshjet mbrojtëse ndaj të ftohtit, dorezat mbrojtëse, pajisjet dhe linjat e sigurisë për përdorim në varkat sportive. Një rëndësi e veçantë në këtë KT i jepet standardeve të harmonizuara të cilat janë nën Rregulloren Nr. 2016/425 “Pajisje Mbrojtëse Personale”.
