Scope

Ky standard përcakton kërkesa të veçanta për vlerësimin e biokompatibilitetit të materialeve për lente intraokulare (IOL) duke përfshirë kushtet e përpunimit për prodhimin e tyre. Këto kërkesa përfshijnë vlerësimin e vetive fiziko-kimike që janë të rëndësishme për biokompatibilitetin. Ai gjithashtu jep udhëzime për kryerjen e një testi të implantimit okular.
