Ky standard jep një metodë testimi për përcaktimin e sasive të dimetil fumaratit (DMFu) në materialet tekstile dhe produktet e tekstilit. Standardi përfshin gjithashtu thasë me substancë higroskopike të thata që mund të jenë të pranishme. Metoda e provës nuk është e zbatueshme për pjesët metalike. Materialet për të cilat zbatohet janë dhënë në dokumentin e standardizimit CEN/TR 16741:2015, Tabelat 1 dhe 3 të dokumentit.
