IEC/TS 62915: 2018 (E) përcakton një qasje uniforme për të mbajtur miratimin e tipit, projektimin dhe kualifikimin e sigurisë të moduleve të PV tokësore që kanë pësuar ose do t'i nënshtrohen modifikimit nga projekti i tyre i vlerësuar fillimisht. Ndryshimet në përzgjedhjen e materialeve, komponentët dhe procesi i prodhimit mund të ndikojnë në performancën elektrike, besueshmërinë dhe sigurinë e produktit të modifikuar. Ky dokument liston modifikimet tipike dhe kërkesat që rezultojnë për rishqyrtim bazuar në standardet e ndryshme të testimit. Ky dokument është i lidhur ngushtë me standardet IEC 61215 dhe IEC 61730.
