Merret parasysh përdorimi i gazrave të ngjeshur (kompresuar) për presionin normal atmosferik, si dhe për presionet hiper- dhe hipobare.
Ky Standard Evropian nuk zbatohet për gazrat e kompresuar që përdoren për qëllime mjekësore ose për aplikime të hapësirës ajrore.
