Mr. Riza Hasanaj, General Director of General Directorate of Standardization

Biography: Riza Hasanaj, General Director of the General Directorate of Standardization.
Mr. Hasanaj was born in Tirana, on September 16, 1960.

In 1988, he completed his University studies in Mechanical Engineering and his studies for MSC - Mechanical Technology, at the Polytechnic University of Tirana.

In the years 1988 - 1993, he worked as a Mechanical Engineer at the Electrotechnical Enterprise, Tirana (State Entity).

During the years 2001 - 2009, he worked in the private sector (National and International Logistics Services), as General Manager.

From October 2009 to January 2014, he worked as Director of the Directorate of Standards and Secretary of the 10th Technical Committees, at the DPS.

In January 2015, he was appointed as General Director of General Directorate of Standardization (DPS).
