Scope

This document applies to automotive far-Infrared (FIR) camera installed on road vehicles to measure or detect the surroundings of the vehicle.
This document specifies key performance indicators and test methods of automotive FIR camera, and includes:
- Key performance indicators for evaluating automotive FIR camera’s outputs
- Requirements for test environment setup
- Test method for each key performance indicator
