Scope

This international standard specifies a method for the determination of the content of non-volatile per and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) by solvent extraction and liquid chromatography with mass spectrometry in footwear and footwear components.
This international standard is applicable to all types of footwear materials to which it is given on ISO/TR 16178:2021, table 1.
