This document specifies the minimum requirements and test methods for Vietnamese Sophora root, which is the dried root and rhizome of Sophora tonkinensis Gagnep. (Fam. Leguminosae).
This document applies to Vietnamese Sophora root sold and used as Chinese materia medica (whole medicinal materials) and decoction pieces derived from this plant.
