Vapour products — Analytical method to measure metals of e-vapor product emissions

Scope

This document specifies a method for the determination of selected metals in e-vapor product emissions.
Selected metals are (to be confirmed):
• Arsenic (As) • Cadmium (Cd) • Chromium (Cr) • Copper (Cu) • Iron (Fe) • Lead (Pb) • Nickel (Ni) • Silver (Ag) • Tin (Sn) • Zinc (Zn) Other metals of potential significance as a contaminant or leachable from components of the vapour product. • Beryllium (Be) • Aluminium (Al) • Titanium (Ti) • Manganese (Mn) • Cobalt (Co) • Selenium (Se) • Strontium (Sr) • Zirconium (Zr) • Molybdenum (Mo) • Tungsten (W) • Gold (Au) • Mercury (Hg)
The necessity to determine these metals requires further discussion, which may require the NWIP to have a limited scope.
