Scope

This technical specification (TS) provides analysis methods of biotransformation of inorganic nanomaterials in pulmonary toxicity studies. The biotransformation in this TS is limited to the transformation of nanomaterials into new particle types characterized by changes in their chemical composition, size, or structure through chemical and physical reactions in physiological environments.
