Scope

Specifies the conditions for full thickness tensile strength testing of conveyor belts and gives the corresponding specifications. Applies to both "surface" and "underground" belts. Does not apply to belts with a metal or with an aramid carcass. This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (1980).
