Ky standard evropian specifikon metodën me anë të spektrometrisë të emetimit optik të plazmës së lidhur induktivisht (ICP OES) për përcaktimin e përmbajtjes së Sodiumit, Kaliumit, Kalciumit, Fosforit, Bakrit dhe Zinkut në lëndën djegëse diezel, duke përfshirë ato që përmbajnë deri në 30 % (V/V)estere metilik të acidit yndyror (FAME), sipas shkallëve të dhëna në Tabelën 1.
