Occupational health and safety management systems - Requirements with guidance for use

The ISO 45001 standard is the only standard for occupational health and safety management. It was developed based on international best practices for occupational health management. The International Organization for Standardization (ISO) has published the new version of the ISO 45001 standard. It helps organizations/companies take the appropriate measures, which will lead to a reduction in accidents at work and the creation of a positive culture of occupational health and safety.

According to the International Labor Organization, work with insurance and full rights is safe work. Every year in the world, according to statistics, about 2.78 million people die from accidents at work or occupational diseases. Hundreds of millions of accidents occur in unsafe workplaces and occupational diseases are caused, which bring significant social and economic costs.

The ISO 45001 standard, Occupational health and safety management systems - Requirements with guidance for use, aims to improve statistics by providing a new model for reducing workplace risks, improving health, increasing safety and promoting well-being at work. It helps to create a safe and supportive environment, so that employers can create a workplace culture where employees feel comfortable asking for help and support when needed.

The benefits of implementing this standard are numerous, such as: reducing the risk of occupational diseases and accidents, declaring employee insurance, more positive behavior in the enterprise and better cooperation with customers, suppliers and third parties.
