Scope

The present document covers the assessment of the following maritime radio beacons in respect of ElectroMagnetic Compatibility (EMC): • Emergency Position Indicating Radio Beacons (EPIRBs) operating in the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system in the UHF band 406,0 MHz to 406,1 MHz and in the maritime VHF band on frequencies 161,975 MHz (AIS1) and 162,025 MHz (AIS2). • Personal Locating Beacons (PLBs) operating in the COSPAS-SARSAT satellite system in the UHF band 406,0 MHz to 406,1 MHz.
