Scope

This European Telecommunication Standard (ETS) specifies the Portable radio Termination (PT) Protocol Implementation eXtra Information for Testing (PIXIT) proforma for the Digital European Cordless Telecommunications (DECT) Public Access Profile (PAP) test specification. The Abstract Test Suite (ATS) describes a set of tests which can be converted using commonly available tools into an executable test suite. For the protocol tests, it consists of TTCN tables comprising an overview section, a declarations section, a constraints section and a dynamic behaviour section. For the non-protocol tests (real-effects), it describes the test method using natural language. The real effects test procedures are contained in ETS 300 323-1 [26], Annex C.
