The present document is applicable to the ground implementation of data link services, derived from the ICAO standard Context Management (CM) and Controller Pilot Data Link Communication (CPDLC) applications, including test procedures. Any software elements related to the software assurance level of data link ground implementation are outside of the scope of the present document. As such the essential requirements of the Interoperability Regulation are not considered for software elements within the present document.
