Scope

This standard specifies the method to be used to determine the characteristics and classify the appearance quality of timber in joinery. This standard applies to all complete items of joinery such as doors, windows and staircases, or to individual parts. It includes solid, finger-jointed, edged-jointed and laminated joinery.
