KT 175 in DPS was established on 14.02.2003 in accordance with the internal regulation of DPS following the strategy of CEN / CENELEC and ISO / IEC on the establishment and functioning of technical committees. The scope of this TC is the adoption of European and international standards CEN / ISO as well as the drafting of Albanian standards regarding wood and processed wood materials.
The economic, technical, regulatory, legal and social policies pursued describe the business environment in the industrial sector, that of products, materials, discipline or practices related to the scope of this EC and can have a significant impact on how are directed to the standards-making processes, as well as to the final content of the standards.
All products that are subject to the work of KT 175 are based on forest resources. Forests have an important environmental and social function in addition to their role as a major source of raw materials.
The market covered by the work of this committee is:
• Round wood, sawn and processed,
• Shaved materials and lignified processed materials other than wood
used as e.g. in furniture, wood flooring, wood paneling, pallets and packaging .... excluding structural aspects
