The Work Program for the adoption of standards during the second half of 2021 is approved

The Technical Board (TB) of the General Directorate of Standardization (DGS) approved the Work Program for the adoption of standards and changes in the Technical Committees (TCs), for the second half of 2021.

On July 09, 2021, at 11:00, the meeting of the DGS Technical Board was held.

In the context of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 and the measures taken to minimize its spread, the meeting of the DGS Technical Board was held online, on an electronic platform.

The members of the TB reviewed the lists of standards proposed for adoption in the second half of 2021 and the changes in the DGS Technical Committees (TCs), which will operate during this period, according to the announced meeting Program.

The Technical Committees that had changes, in terms of new memberships, were in the field of electrotechnics and ICT: DPS/KT 3 "Electrical and electronic materials" and DPS/KT 9 "Communication and information technology", as well as in the field of construction: DPS/KT 104 "Concrete and related products; "Automation, management and accessories in construction" and DPS/KT 336 "Bituminous binders. Road materials".

In the context of the pandemic caused by COVID-19 and the measures taken to minimize the spread, DPS informed the members of the BT that during this period the Technical Committees covering the following fields continue to be engaged: DPS/KT 160 "Personal protective equipment", DPS/KT 205 "Inactive medical equipment", DPS/KT 215 "Respiratory and anesthesia equipment" and DPS/KT 316 "Medical equipment".

In addition to the above, the Technical Board was also informed about the work done by DPS to complete the documentation for full membership in CEN/CENELEC, especially the latest developments in the DPS Standards Management System (SMS), according to the harmonized service model, in order to achieve communication with the databases of the European and International Standardization Organizations.

Now, the members of the TCs will have their profile in the SMS, ensuring greater access to standardization activities.

At the end of the meeting, the members of the Technical Board approved:

• The Work Program for the second half of 2021;

• The Composition of the Technical Committees.

The next meeting of the Technical Board, to approve the DPS work program for the first half of 2022, will be held in the second week of January.
