Scope

This document specifies the minimum performance, installation and usage requirements for emergency safety body showers and eyewash units (devices), including instructions for installation, instructions for use, maintenance, testing and labelling (marking).
This document does not cover showers for personal cleaning, decontamination of personal protective equipment and clothing, or personal hygiene.
