Scope

This document specifies geometry, mass and testing for individual aircraft cabin baggage carried on board by passengers.
This document does not apply to pieces of baggage checked in by airline passengers at airports to be carried in aircraft cargo compartments. Checked baggage is specified in ISO 12604-1.
