Small hydropower plants — Site selection planning

Scope

It specifies the general principles of site selection planning for small hydropower (SHP) projects up to 30 MW, mainly including general provisions, basic data collection and analysis, computation of river basin or sub-basin hydropower potential, preliminary planning of site, site surveys and investigations, preparation of site construction plan, assessment and prediction, preparation of site selection planning report.
