Scope

This document gives an overview on the weathering and radiation testing of coatings on plastics, plastics composites and similar substrates, hereinafter shortly referred to as plastics.
Characteristics and differences to metallic substrates of plastics are explained, as well as their effect on the behaviour of the coating during the weathering test.
