Scope

This document specifies a X-ray fluorescence (XRF) test method for the determination of trace levels of Chlorine in liquid hydrocarbons such as aromatics, feedstocks, fuels and pyrolysis oils, from 1 mg/kg to 500 mg/kg, using instruments with either monochromatic or polychromatic excitation.
