Scope

This document provides minimum requirements for ensuring reliable measurement in procedures of cell image capture using optical microscopy, image processing, and morphometry, to quantify cell morphological features including cell shape, size and texture.
This document defines terms and definitions corresponding to parameters, and lists examples of morphometric parameters and their formulae, that represent quantitative cellular morphological features for evaluation of cell morphology in cell analysis and cell manufacturing.
This document is applicable to processed mammalian cells.
