Scope

ISO 11256:2015 specifies a method to provide a relative measure for evaluating the formation of clusters of iron ore pellets when reduced under conditions resembling those prevailing in shaft direct-reduction processes.
ISO 11256:2015 is applicable to hot-bonded pellets.
