Scope

Lays down the basic dimensions of these punches in the diameter range of 0,5 to 15 mm. It gives as examples materials and hardness, and specified designation of punches. The main use of punches as defines in ISO 6752 is for punching holes in steel steet. They may also be used when punching holes in other materials.
