Scope

This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition (ISO 5748:1982). Specifies the principal dimensions of end cutting nippers and the test values in order to verify their aptitude to function in conformity with ISO 5744. general technical requirements: see ISO 5743. The figures in ISO 5748 are examples only and are not intended to affect the manufactuere's design.
