Scope

IEC 61937-9:2017(E) describes the method to convey non-linear PCM bitstreams encoded according to the MAT format.
This second edition cancels and replaces the first edition published in 2007. This edition constitutes a technical revision.
This edition includes the following significant technical changes with respect to the previous edition: addition of new frame rates.
