Scope

This standard specifies the characteristics of protective cover for plug and receptacle in the family of rectangular electrical connectors with sealed and non-sealed rear, plastic housing, locking device, for operating temperatures from - 55 °C to 175 °C.
The protective covers are not able to ensure a sealing in immersion condition.
